about

"There's a Man In a Smiling Bag" started out as a live video project where the songs from the album "The Owls Are Not What They Seem" were performed in scenic locations in the United States. Some of the locations were in forests and you can hear birds singing in the background, or near the ocean and you will hear the waves on the shore. The nature effected the sound in different ways on all the songs.

All the songs are re-mastered from the videos to give you the best possible listening experience. If you are curious about where the recordings are made, go to www.youtube.com/makakimusic to watch the videos and enjoy the breathtaking sceneries that the US has to offer.
